Fraternities

Yes, I was involved in a fraternity (Sigma Alpha Epsilon) as a student at Kansas State University. Positions held, president, recruitment, new member educator, and spiritual. I am also an honorary member of Beta Sigma Psi. I provide culture, leadership, and mentoring to a wide variety of fraternities currently at universities in The Big Twelve, Big Ten, and SEC conferences addressing recruitment, academics, social, civic service/philanthropic, culture, mental wellness, and leadership. Additionally, leading all house and exec retreats, as well as house corps and advisor retreats.

Taking fraternity men on an international civic service weeklong trips every May to Nicaragua and a Leadership Summit expertise in the mountains of Colorado every July for the past eight years!

Published several times in Connection magazine (AFLV) and speaking at AFLV conferences the past several years.

Received the National Advisor of the year award twice with Sigma Alpha Epsilon and the advisor of the year among all fraternities at Kansas State University.

Currently a live-in-house director, house corps member, national board member, chapter advisor, and faculty advisor I am able to understand all facets of fraternity life.

“It’s time for fraternities to come together and create a new future that is distinctly different from the past yet holding onto foundational values and the reason for existence.”
John R. Hatfield

“As a fraternity, you must learn to trust each other, cooperate, and collaborate with each other for a greater purpose, that of fulfilling the mission of why you exist.”
John R. Hatfield
